The countrysite near our town

Millau is situated in the south centre of France, in the middle of the natural large park called “Grands Causses” which are mountains all around the town.

If you love large areas and natural treasures... come and appreciate :

• Round the town the Larzac... black, red earth Causses
• 3 river valleys Tarn Jonte Dourbie
• Roquefort, a village built in the rocks where they make cheese with ewe milk
• Wonderful “grottes” (deep holes under ground) Aven Armand Dargilan

A lot of different places of interest in the surrounding area (the museum with potteries from a lot of years ago and the story of leather factory, the Larzac well know in the seventies, Sylvanes Abbaye, Micropolis “the insects city”, Noria museum the story of water...
